After college, I wanted to make friends, but I could not find a meetup group that fit me. Other groups targeted people who were older, extroverts, or held in locations far away from me. 

So in March 2025 I decided to create my own meetup group, “South Shore Introverts in 20s Lightly Socializing,” with activities held closer to me and that introverts would enjoy.

I choose events that drive conversation, such as the ones listed below, that make introverts comfortable. We have grown to over 100 members and the progress has been more than I expected. As a result of making this group, I have had new connections and good times, and so have the members who enjoy doing a bit more socializing in their own way.
